We provide a short update on how the vintage progresses after a rather rainy month of August.

Things look great in the vineyards, as shown here on pictures taken today by winemaker Olaf Schneider (Weingut "O."), in his 100 years-old un-grafted vineyard in the Trarbacher Ungsberg.
There was some pressure from rot as August proved rather rainy but all hope now for a great September.
Should this turn to be the case, and 2013 has shown how volatile predictions can be, the Riesling harvest could start by early October this year.
