Part III of the Vintage Report includes 12 detailed Estate Reviews (with 160 wines sampled). It also provides detailed tasting notes for another 80 wines from a further 1é Estates. The report also includes recent releases from recent vintages (2021, 2020, and 2019).
The part II of our 2022 dry German Riesling report includes an overview (with our buying guide) of this hot vintage which delivered some remarkably elegant and fresh dry Riesling but also quite some disjointed ones. We also provide another 45 tasting notes from 16 Estates.
The 2023 Auctions (VDP Mosel, Bernkasteler Ring, and VDP Nahe-Ahr-Pfalz-Rheinhessen) held last September saw some (relative) bargains but also many very high prices. We look back at these unique events and share some additional tasting notes of some of the finest Riesling on earth.
