This 75-page strong Issue includes Part I of our extensive 2022 Vintage Report with 280 wines from over 28 Estates. Here is what is in store.
2022 saw one of the hottest and driest summers in history: So, are the wines rich, powerful, and full-bodied? Well, not at all, as the vintage turned out unexpectedly classic and delivered some stunners.
We review the growing conditions, describe the wine styles, and share our buying guide!
Part I of the Vintage Report includes 13 detailed Estate Reviews (with 190 wines sampled). It also provides detailed tasting notes for another 90 wines from a further 15 Estates. The report also includes recent releases from past vintages (2021, 2020, and 2019).
On top of classics from great established Estates, we also unearthed some beauties from upcoming and still largely unknown new growers.
The issue includes also dry Riesling from across Germany and as well as dry Riesling highlights from the Mosel.
