This 80-page strong Issue includes Part II of our 2020 Vintage Report and a preview of our annual dry German Riesling report. Here is what is in store.
The 2020 growing season was hot and dry and the harvest season mostly cloudy and rainy: The result is a unique vintage with incredible lightness, filigreed precision, subtlety, and a dash of ripeness.
We review the growing conditions, describe the wine styles, and share our buying guide!
Part I of the Vintage Report includes 12 detailed Estate Reviews (with 160 wines sampled). It also provides detailed tasting notes for another 120 wines from a further 21 Estates, including from a few new exciting names we bet you have never heard off.
The Issue also includes a sneak preview with over 100 top dry German Riesling from leading Estates, including many “GGs” from leading VDP Estates which have just been released (mainly from the 2020 vintage but also some other hot recent releases).
