Special Auction Issue: Each year, at the end of September, the top Estates from the Bernkasteler Ring and the Grosser Ring sell their best and rare bottlings at this two major auctions. We provide a full independent review of auction wines before the auctions. One common critique we received from many wine lovers throughout the world is that, so far, there was no independent advice on these auctions before they happen. Unless one made the effort to be present at these events, it was hardly possible to make an informed decision before shedding hundreds of Euros for rare bottles of Auslese GK, BA or TBA. This is now a thing of the past.
